Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner Split After 10 Years of Marriage

Ben and Jen no more. Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have split after more than 11 years together. The couple's announcement comes just one day after their 10th wedding anniversary.

"After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce. We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time," the couple said in a joint statement to Us Weekly on Tuesday, June 30. "This will be our only comment on this private, family matter. Thank you for understanding."

Affleck, 42, and Garner, 43, first met on set of 2001's drama Pearl Harbor, and shared the screen once more in 2003's Daredevil. They remained friends before going public as a couple at the Boston Red Sox's opening game of the World Series on Oct. 23, 2004.

The Argo director proposed on the actress' 33rd birthday in April 2005, and wed in a hush-hush Caribbean ceremony that June. They share daughters Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and son Samuel, 3.

Back in March, the Nine Lives actress revealed that the pair often take turns working so the other could be at home with the kids. "I've been home for a long time. It's my turn and I'm going to go to work this spring," she told reporters at a Beverly Hills event for her film Danny Collins.

"I think I’ll work the spring and summer, maybe the fall too, as long as some of it's at home." (That month, Garner and Violet accompanied Affleck to his U.S. Senate hearing in Washington, D.C. He's since been preparing for his role as Batman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and has been filming Suicide Squad in Toronto, Canada.)

Affleck and Garner walked their last red carpet together at the 2nd annual Save the Children Illumination Gala at NYC's Plaza Hotel in November 2014. Most memorably, Garner supported Affleck during his stellar awards season for the drama Argo in 2013.

"I want to thank you for working on our marriage for 10 Christmases. It's good. It is work but the best kind of work and there's no one I'd rather work with," Affleck said while accepting Argo's Best Picture Oscar (his second following a Best Screenplay win for Good Will Hunting in 1997) in February 2013.
"You have to work harder than you think you possibly can. It's hard. But you can't hold grudges. And it doesn't matter if you get knocked down in life. All that matters is that you gotta get back up."

Garner later reacted to the speech during an interview with The Telegraph. "I know Ben, I knew he meant it as the hugest, warmest compliment in the world," she explained. "I think he was saying, 'Look, what we have is really real and I value it above all and I'm in it with you and I know you are in it with me.' That's the way I took it."

Affleck previously called off his two-year engagement to Jennifer Lopez in 2004. (The exes shared a laugh at the 2015 Oscars.) He also romanced Gwyneth Paltrow from 1997 to 2000. Garner split from Scandal's Scott Foley in 2003 after two years of marriage, and later had a brief romance with Alias costar Michael Vartan.

Bye, bye bachelor days! Bachelorette alum Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul have tied the knot, Us Weekly can exclusively confirm.

An insider tells Us that the couple taped their nuptials for the upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise. The ABC series is meaningful to the couple, as they first met and got engaged during the show last year.

"Happy 1 year anniversary honey buns!" Grodd, 26, captioned a sweet Instagram photo of his bride on Thursday, June 25. "Crazy to think I had a ring in my pocket this time last year without her having a clue.
Whatcha getting ready for?"

The sports medicine manager and Faddoul opened up about their wedding plans during The Bachelor Season 19 premiere in January 2014.

"We actually really want to customize our wedding to contribute to the Bachelor Nation. And, so, we’re planning in the process and we actually are designing a perfume line. My perfume is actually what I’ll be wearing on my wedding day so I’m really excited about that," Faddoul told Us at the time.

She added: "Clare Crawley, Michelle Money, there are several Bachelor people who will definitely make the list as well as our bridal party."

Grodd, meanwhile, helped with wedding plans. "I do the magazines, and try to get the Internet searches going," he said. She chimed in: "He’s good with Pinterest, actually!"

Grodd was previously one of Andi Dorfman's suitors on Season 10 of The Bachelorette. Faddoul, who recently got her real estate license, tried to win the final rose from Juan Pablo Galavis during Season 18 of The Bachelor alongside Dorfman.

White House Lights Up in Rainbow Colors After SCOTUS Gay Marriage Ruling, Celebrities React:

The White House lit up in rainbow colors following the Supreme Court's historic gay marriage ruling Credit: March/The Washington Post via Getty Images

What a day! As millions of Americans celebrated on the streets and via social media, the White House was taking it one step further. Hours after the Supreme Court's historic ruling on gay marriage, President Barack Obama's home was illuminated in rainbow colors for the world to see.

Earlier in the day, several brands also took part in the festivities. Companies like Kellogg's, Ben & Jerry's, Cheerios, Target, and Jell-O gave their support. Others also changed their logos to rainbow colors and tweeted #LoveWins.

"No longer may this liberty be denied," Justice Anthony M. Kennedy said of the news. "No union is more profound than marriage, for it embodies the highest ideals of love, fidelity, devotion, sacrifice and family. In forming a marital union, two people become something greater than once they were.

See how other stars are reacting to the White House's colorful tribute:

Olivia Wilde: "Rainbow House."

Dule Hill: "A job well done. America...congrats. LoveWins ,LoveIsEquality ,MarriageEquality ,PeaceBe ,LoveBe ,EqualityBe ,LoveIS."

Sara Bareilles: "Oh what a day. lovewins."

Diane Kruger: "Who would have ever thought..what a day to remember."

Troin Bellisario: "lovewins."

Nikki Reed: "What a beautiful moment in time. What an amazing message we are sending out into the world. I am so happy to be home, and so happy I walked off of that plane and into this country at a time that is worthy of more than just a celebration. Well done America. This isn't about making a statement, and regardless of where you stand, you cannot argue that nothing is more important than the happiness, the joy, and the freedom that is felt by so many right now. These are not topics we should argue over-this is about love, this is about life, and quite frankly this shouldn't even be a discussion. lovewins.

Jill Duggar, Derick Dillard Moving Overseas for Missionary Work: Read Their Statement

And away they go. Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard - who welcomed son Israel in April - are leaving their Arkansas home for an undisclosed amount of time. The 19 Kids and Counting stars made the announcement that they will be moving overseas for missionary work via their personal blog on Friday, June 26.

"Since we first began our relationship, it has always been our goal that Jesus Christ might be glorified as we serve others through family ministry, by whatever means that might be," the couple wrote. "We have a deep love and care for all of the world and a real passion for those in the nations, as many have even seen in the early stages of our relationship, and our hope is that all peoples of the world would come to repentance and put their hope in the Lord, Jesus Christ."

"God has put a desire in our hearts to serve Him internationally for longer than the typical short-term mission trip, but we didn’t know yet how God would fulfill that desire in us. We were prepared for the possibility of it being years before our family would be able to make a move of that magnitude," they continued. "It's something we've prayed about together in an effort to seek God's plan for our lives in His service."

Married since last year, the couple explained that they were faced with the new opportunity several months ago. Dillard, 26, felt that he had a "huge dilemma as the provider and the protector" of his family, but ultimately stepped down from his position at Wal-Mart to begin their journey next month.

"We don’t expect this new adventure to always be easy, but God never promised that following Him wouldn’t have its challenges. We are confident in knowing that there is no better place to be than in the center of God’s will for our lives," Dillard wrote.
"We look forward to this adventure and the joy of serving Him in this new way. We wanted to share this with you and ask for your prayers as our family makes this transition."

Their news comes amid many changes for the reality TV family. Late last month, 19 Kids and Counting was pulled from TLC amid Josh Duggar's molestation scandal. Jill, 24, (one of the victims in the case) and her parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, sat down with Fox News' Megyn Kelly about the ordeal. At the time, it was rumored that TLC would instead concentrate on Jill and Derick, and pregnant Jessa Duggar and her husband Ben Seewald, for a possible spin-off.

Britain's Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip are greeted by German Chancellor Angela Merkel at the Chancellery in Berlin, June 24, 2015.

On Wednesday, the world's most powerful woman welcomed the world's most famous woman with a handshake outside the German Chancellery in Berlin.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who presides over the richest economy in Europe and is the central broker in the massive euro-bailout deal, is hosting Britain's Queen Elizabeth and her husband, Prince Philip, on a four-day state visit to Germany.

Reuters Britain's Queen Elizabeth is greeted by German Chancellor Angela Merkel at the Chancellery in Berlin, June 24, 2015.

The queen's fifth visit to Deutschland includes a wreath-laying ceremony at Berlin's Neue Wache war memorial, a tour of the World War II-era Bergen-Belsen concentration camp (where Anne Frank perished and the only camp to be liberated by the British), and a lecture with students at the Technische Universität of Berlin, according to a statement from the Bundeskanzlerin.

The royal couple will stay at the Hotel Adlon near Berlin's Brandenburg gate, the same location where Michael Jackson infamously dangled his baby from a balcony, the Telegraph reports.

Meanwhile, the UK is gearing up for a major referendum on whether it will remain a member of the 28-nation EU. In a podcast released from the Bundeskanzlerin, Merkel said there is "a lot of common ground in politics" between the two nations. "I hope that the UK remains in the EU," Merkel added.

Kris and Kylie Jenner Double Date in Cannes

There's nothing like going on a double date with your mom!

Kris Jenner, 59, and her youngest child, 17-year-old Kylie, stepped out together with their men — Corey Gamble, 34, and Tyga, 25, respectively — on Wednesday night, hitting up the Mail Online Yacht event in Cannes, France.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians stars are in town for the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity where Kim Kardashian spoke earlier today. Kris, Corey, Kylie, and Tyga posed as a foursome on the blue carpet.

It's kind of funny that they'd want to attend a bash hosted by the trashy U.K. tabloid, but let's face it: Any press is good press for the Kardashian-Jenner clan.

While the Kardashian matriarch opted for a silk silver gown with a plunging neckline, Kylie wore a white sheer crop top dress that showed off her tiny waistline and long legs. Tyga matched his girlfriend in cream while Corey came clad in a black suit.

Earlier on Wednesday, the foursome was also spotted grabbing lunch at the ritzy Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d'Antibes, France, which is a hot spot during the Cannes Film Festival.

Guess it's safe to say Kris and Kylie approve of each other's beau.

As for Kim, she showed up fashionably late to the soiree. The pregnant reality star, 34, has been complaining of nausea lately, but that didn't keep her from getting gussied up in the daring black getup below. After all, making appearances is part of her job.
